Which fabric should I choose?

Printcubator offers a large catalogue with cotton, viscose, silk, linen and polyester fabrics, also with organic or recycled components for responsible fashion. It is important to choose the correct fabric for your project. In the description of each fabric, we give information about the technical data and the suggestion for its uses. To appreciate the handfeel of a fabric, we recommend you order a quality sample. This is a small printed piece of fabric about 6 x 6cm together with its technical data.

What are the delivery times?
The production time depends on the selected material. The shipping date is about 10 days after payment for synthetic fabrics like polyester; and 2-3 weeks for natural fabrics like cotton, viscose, linen or silk.

How does digital printing work?

Digital printing allows to print digital images directly onto the fabric with industrial textile inkjet printers. This method is more flexible and faster than traditional textile printing. It is also a sustainable production method, because the ink and chemical usage is lower. Digital printing permits a maximum of creativity and gives vibrant colors.

What is the difference between reactive printing and sublimation printing?

Reactive printing can be used for natural fabrics such as cotton, viscose, silk or linen. The image is printed with special textile inks on a conditioned fabric. After printing, the fabric is fixed and washed to give it a special finish.
Sublimation printing is a technology used mainly in polyester-based synthetic fabrics. An image is printed with heat-sensitive inks on special paper. The image is then transferred from the paper to one side of the fabric using heat and pressure.

What is waterless pure printing?
Waterless PURE printing can be used for many woven and jersey fabrics. Pigment inks are printed directly on the fabric. The fabric is given a drying finish. This technology does not use any water for the specific preparation to print nor for the finishing, and helps protect the environment.

Do the prices include the printing service ?

Yes, the prices listed on the website include the printing service. When entering a quantity, the corresponding price per meter of fabric is displayed.
All prices in the product descriptions are shown net on VAT tax. When you finalise your order, the net price, the VAT amount and the total payment amount are indicated.
